Arduino Workshop - Serial LCD Project 1: SparkFun Serial LCD

Hardware Required:

Arduino Uno board

SparkFun 16x2 Serial LCD






Schematic:





Using the breadboard to connect a SparkFun serial LCD module. You can just as easily connect the LCD wires directly to the Arduino.



Project Steps:

Insert the 3-wire cable into the rear of the LCD module

Tightly twist the exposed tips of the wires so they will fit into the Arduino
